Who We Are

The property was purchased in 2004 and the first phase opened in 2008. In 2012, we added the first solar system and in 2014, we added our second phase which included the addition of all electric heat and our second solar system. In 2019, we added the third phase with electric heat and our third solar system. 

Our mission was to create an upscale storage facility featuring customer service as our top priority. As a family owned and operated facility, we have the most dedication to keep our facility clean, green, secure and safe. 

Our community is very important to us. We donate units to our local school basketball teams and continue to support Hardyston Police Department. We are members of the Sussex County Chamber of Commerce and we are an affiliate member of the Better Business Bureau with an “A” rating.

What We Offer

Our facility is fenced and secured by an automatic lift gate. The EasyCode app automatically opens the gate and turns the lights on to your unit through your smart phone. No contact is necessary for the key pad if you don’t want to. 

Highlands Self Storage is entirely powered by our 150kw solar system keeping our environment green and reducing our carbon footprint. 

We also offer the ability to rent units and pay for units on line. No need to write checks or come to the office. We also accept ACH payments and can set up monthly recurring autopayments.
